Alana is a 32 year old Albanian-American photographer based in New York. She began studying traditional film photography in high school, and advanced her education to a BFA in photography at the School of Visual Arts. As a graduate of SVA’s photography program, she has since then worked for The New York Observer, and assisted various established photographers.
Alana has now dedicated her raw love for photography to capturing every day moments in an authentic manner by focusing on the beauty in simplicity. Whether photographing lifestyle, people, products, events or interior spaces, her work speaks as a nostalgically authentic diary. She strives to capture genuine emotions with a soulful eye, candidly intimate and invented in every detail.
